aspha-min® for warm mix asphalt (WMA)

By the use of aspha-min® asphalt mix temperatures can be reduced by about 30 °C. This is saving resources and leads to careful handling of the asphalt plant and the construction machinery. Moreover, lower production and laying temperatures reduce the thermal aging of the bitumen.

Warm mix asphalt with aspha-min® improves the working conditions of asphalt workers significantly - through lower emissions of fumes and aerosols at the plant and during laying. Other advantages of warm mix asphalt are obvious: Asphalt mixes which are produced and laid with aspha-min® under reduced temperatures are ready for traffic within a shorter period of time. aspha-min® makes construction projects possible which have to be realized under extreme time pressure during the night, like airport runways, highly frequented highways and traffic junctions.
